Why Families Choose Us

Why Our Golden Retriever Puppies Are Different

The first eight weeks shape a dog for life. Our golden retriever puppies are raised underfoot in a busy family home — not in an outdoor kennel or a converted garage — so noise, children, stairs and handling are all normal before they ever meet you.

We also breed rarely. Two litters a year means every puppy gets real individual attention, and we can stay in touch with owners for the life of the dog.

Apply for a Puppy
  • Fully Health-Tested Parents

OFA hip, elbow, heart and eye clearances plus genetic panels — results shared before you commit.

  • Temperament Matching

We pair puppies to households by energy and personality, not by who deposits first.

  • Early Socialisation Programme

Daily handling, new surfaces, car rides and household sounds from week one.

  • Crate & Potty Started

Puppies leave already used to a crate and paper routine, so week one at home is calmer.

  • Lifetime Take-Back Promise

If life ever changes, your dog comes back to us — no questions, at any age.

Starter Kit

Two weeks of the food they're already eating, a blanket carrying littermate scent, and a toy.

Lifetime Breeder Support

Call or message us any time — feeding, training, adolescence or health questions, for the life of your dog.

Health & Genetics

Health Testing Behind Every Litter

Goldens are a wonderful breed with known hereditary risks. Responsible breeding cannot remove every risk, but proper screening dramatically reduces it — which is why we test both parents before any pairing.

Certificates for the sire and dam are available on request, and we will send them to your own vet if you'd like an independent opinion before you reserve.

  • Hips
OFA hip evaluation. Both parents screened and cleared for hip dysplasia.
  • Elbows
OFA elbow evaluation. Clearances confirmed before breeding age.
  • Heart
Cardiac exam by a specialist. Screening for subvalvular aortic stenosis.
  • Eyes
Annual ophthalmologist exam. CAER certification kept current.
  • DNA
Genetic panel. Includes PRA, Ichthyosis and DM carrier status.
  • Guarantee
Two-year written guarantee covering qualifying hereditary conditions.

FAQ

Golden Retriever Puppies — Frequently Asked Questions

How much do golden retriever puppies cost?
Our golden retriever puppies are priced between $2,400 and $2,800 depending on the litter and pairing. That price includes the vet exam, first vaccinations, deworming, microchip, registration paperwork, starter kit and a two-year written health guarantee. Prices far below this range usually signal untested parents or a broker rather than a breeder.
At what age can golden retriever puppies go home?
Eight weeks. Puppies that leave the litter earlier miss critical bite-inhibition and social learning from their mother and littermates, and in many states early separation is not permitted. We do not make exceptions to this.
Are your golden retriever puppies health tested?
The parents are. Both the sire and dam hold OFA hip, elbow, cardiac and eye clearances plus a genetic panel, and every puppy receives a full veterinary examination before go-home day. Certificates are available on request and we will send them directly to your vet.
Do you ship puppies?
We prefer pickup so we can meet you in person. When distance makes that impossible we arrange ground transport with a licensed pet courier, or you may fly in and take your puppy home in cabin. We do not ship puppies unaccompanied as cargo.
How do I reserve a puppy and what deposit is required?
Start with the puppy application, then we speak directly. Once we agree on a match, a deposit reserves your place and is applied to the final price. The deposit is transferable to a future litter if the match does not work out.
What is the difference between English cream and American golden retrievers?
Mostly coat colour and build. English-line goldens tend to be lighter, blockier and slightly calmer; American lines are often darker and more athletic. Both are the same breed — temperament comes far more from the individual parents and how the puppy is raised than from coat shade.
Are golden retriever puppies good for first-time owners?
Yes, with realistic expectations. They are eager to please and forgiving of beginner mistakes, but they need daily exercise, consistent training and company. A golden left alone nine hours a day will be an unhappy dog.
